I'm dumbfounded.I really didn't think I could be shocked anymore. I've just been looking through a thesaurus and dictionary for a word to describe this, and I can't find one. Two things come to mind: the inception of the comedy/horror genre that taught people to laugh at slaughter, and the Bible verse that mentions people whose "consciences are seared with a hot iron."
